1978 Vtg Nowell’s Mold 17 Lighted Ceramic Christmas Tree with Snow Holly Base. Beautiful vintage ceramic tree. No cracks or breaks, but it does have some chipping here and there on the tree branches and rim of base with the light. The chips are small and were painted to blend by the previous owner. It’s hard to tell where they are. Overall in great working condition providing a little nostalgia from yesteryear. The bulbs are not original to the tree but will come with it.

See last group of pictures for known chips. Most of the white spots in photos are reflections of the camera flash or light in the room. Obvious chips have been identified and pointed out with red arrows. If I missed a few, please forgive me. The far majority of chips are not visible once the tree is assembled and displayed. All bulbs are there. The bulbs are of a variety of sizes and some are obviously replacements for lost ones. One of the birds has a broken wing. The star is in good condition. I have also included a new LED light bulb that is very bright and will likely last a lifetime of periodic use. The cord is about 6 feet long and has an on/off switch all in excellent working condition, not damaged. Two additional replacement large bulbs provided with item in case you loose one.

It is 22 high and it has a lovely iridescent / pearl finish. It is 2 pieces, and the tree is large and heavy. It lights up with the light in the base. It is stamped on the bottom Nowells Molds 1979. There are a few old bulbs in the branch holes. The glaze has some crazing. I do not see any chips or cracks. Has some minor chipping, mostly isnt visible when the entire tree is assembled, as it tends to occur where the pieces rest against each other. Tree is marked Nowell. Base is Atlantic Mold (not the original) and wind up mechanism plays the music for White Christmas. Measures 28 tall by 20 at its widest.
