This is a vintage decorated pre-lit Christmas tree “enhanced” by my mother – at the core was a Byers’ Choice Prelit Decorated Tree that she bought at SAKS – the last picture is a representation of that tree unaltered that I found on the internet. She did not think it was beautiful enough – so she added 2 strings of battery operated lights – and then loaded each branch with her finest vintage fancy oldest tiny glass ornaments from the family “passing down” – and then further added to it ornaments that she created from old jewelry parts and pieces that were her treasures. The final result: A stunning tree unlike one that you will ever find! It is glorious when it is unlit – and when the lights are turned on in the base of the basket (Byers’ Choice lights – 3 batteries) and then the two additional strands are lit that she added (3 batteries each) -boxes are tucked up under the tree between the tree and basket – it will take your breath away!
