The tree is complete with protective sleeves, base and original box. I only pulled out a few limbs so you could see them. They are all in very nice condition. The two piece pole and three legged stand are very nice as well. I count fifty individual limbs that all look to be the same length. The tree was manufactured from Metal Trees Corporation in Chicago, IL. The light works well with a spinning motor for a four piece colored lens. The lens has melting damage on one of the lenses shown in the pictures. The body is in very nice condition. Be sure to check all my other hard to find items before you go! Vintage Restored Holly Time Aluminum Christmas Tree Color Wheel New Motor. The color lens are overall nice. No chips or cracks. One of the lens is slightly bigger than the rest but it really is not noticeable and does not affect the use of the color wheel. Comes in original box. Includes a brand new LED lightbulb. This unit come with a brand new motor. The motor runs quietly and smoothly. Most vintage color wheels manufactured during the 60’s and 70’s are nearing the end of their life cycle. Although, the body of the wheel may look great, the motor is wearing down. They may have one of the problems listed below or a combination of problems. The motor makes a grinding sound, signaling that its reaching the end of its lifespan. The motor turns intermittently or sporadically, another indication that its nearing failure. The motor needs to be nudged in order to get the lens to turn. The shaft is beginning to loosen, causing the lens to melt. Eventually the shaft breaks off. Our wheels have been restored and we have replaced the motors and shafts. We stand behind our work. All motors are brand new and carefully replaced in our machine shop. Vintage COLOR WHEEL by PENETRAY 4-Color REFLECTOR SPOTLIGHT for X-Mas Tree, etc. Being offered for sale is the vintage “MOTORIZED COLOR WHEEL”. (seems the motorized portion is broken, see “Condition Notes” below for more info). By Penetray from circa the 1950’s or 1960’s. As seen in the pictures/as described in the title. PLEASE SEE BELOW FOR IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES. Being offered for sale as-found, uncleaned. May require a thorough detailing to bring to its full potential. (bulb shown IS included). But wheel does NOT spin. The rod seems to be stuck/frozen in place, as we can not get it to turn manually either. Colors can still be changed by simply loosening the wing-nut that holds it in place and manually positioning to the desired color, then re-tighten. Red plastic has chip. (see yellow arrow in 9th pic). Otherwise, it is in Good/Very Good vintage condition with minor -to- moderate overall cosmetic wear but NO additional breaks or repairs. Box is pretty beat up and is quite fragile. It has been taped at the most fragile spots to prevent further damage. Also included is a bag of box pieces. (in case you’d like to attempt to repair it a bit). See last 2 pics. Please see ruler in pictures for size/scale reference. Additional measurements shall be provided upon request.
